not that you should expect anything more than rank idiocy from this pair of racists, but the idea that whiteness means a "high trust" society of "social cohesion" is some of the stupidest shit i have ever heard. these people live in a fantasy land that you could dispel by simply opening a book.

I wonder what it would be like to write the same column, over and over again, endlessly. Seems like it’d be boring. But maybe it brings one comfort, like having your parents read you the same story every night before you go to bed.

Saw a back and forth with someone who sat out 2024 because of one of Kamala's campaign positions and said they'd do it again without hesitation and I don't get to cast their vote for them but those people are the second thing I think about when I read what Miller has done to our country... 🧵

He lied about every single thing. Everyday. He ran knowing full well who he is while presenting himself as someone else (poorly). He wasted everyone’s time & money & shattered people’s credibility. He used the political process as a vanity project to the detriment of the folks he wanted to represent

The Voting Rights Act may have been less explicitly partisan in its intention, but saying "states can effectively disenfranchise black people as long as they call it partisan gerrymandering" incentivizes partisan splits along racial lines.

On the Comey indictment:
But that’s not the point, is it? The point of the indictment is to demonstrate that the United States Department of Justice is wholly an instrument of Donald Trump’s senescent pique, no more independent of him than a boil on his ass. The point is to show that the administration can, and will, use the Department’s mechanisms to punish enemies. The point is to show that the Department can, and will, punish protected speech. The point is to show that the Department is staffed by committed fanatics willing to do anything, however unethical and unconstitutional, to promote Trump.

Libs and leftists are gonna be pretty humiliated when it turns out shutting down global trade, collapsing your own popularity, eliminating your medical research base, and causing a global energy shock as you alienate your military and strategic alliances, is actually the path to National Greatness.

A reminder while Republicans bitch about Dems finishing the redistricting fight they started: they have full control of gov’t— they can pass a law banning gerrymandering any time they want. They won’t. Republicans aren’t mad gerrymandering exists; they’re mad that they’re not the only ones using it.

Talked to an HVAC guy who's working two jobs to pay rent. He has no savings and worries about retirement. Tariffs have made it hard for him to import parts. Then this big strong guy who never cries, he said, he said to me, "I just wish Trump's signature was on the dollar." Then he burst out crying.
New York Times headline reads: "Trump’s Signature to Be Added to U.S. Dollars

President Trump is set to be the first sitting president to have his signature appear on America’s currency."

"Prodigal" means wasteful and extravagant. It does not mean leaving or fleeing. The Prodigal Son was prodigal because he was wasteful and extravagant. He ALSO left home and came back. Same with the new standup special "Prodigal Daughter." Call me a pedant...but don't call me prodigal!
