Watch this GREAT summary of how *one* major slice of The Bullshit has been circulating (in slightly rebranded form) since the 1980s. I’d go farther & say that the core grievance (“minorities are taking over”) goes back AT LEAST to anti-Civil Rights rhetoric of the 50s, btw. youtu.be/nD1nJ7g8j94

We talk a lot about social media radicalizing the population but it's been far more efficient at radicalizing public figures.

Rumble podcaster Graham Allen, newly hired by the Department of Defense under Pete Hegseth, has previously claimed that Taylor Swift is “a witch & a devil" who uses "straight witchcraft" & has had "some kind of satanic music." www.mediamatters.org/rumble/rumbl...
April 24, 2024: Among its “editor picks,” Rumble selected a video promoting the conspiracy theory that Swift may be “a witch” who uses “demonic” methods to hold on to her fanbase. The video was titled in part “Taylor Swift's New Album Is DEMONIC!!!” It featured Swift in its thumbnail image alongside the text “DOUBLE, DOUBLE, TOIL AND TROUBLE,” a reference to a line from witches in the William Shakespeare play Macbeth. The video features a discussion about Swift’s album The Tortured Poets Department in which host Graham Allen calls her “a witch and a devil,” claiming that her power over her young fan base is “demonic” and the result of “straight witchcraft,” and suggesting that she won over her fans with “some kind of satanic music back in the day.”

By Grabthar’s hammer! What a savings! Anyway, this ad was on CharismaNews.com, which is the leading news organ of neo-Charismatics (think “Jesus Camp” types who want 🇺🇸 to be a theocracy — heck, I saw the ad on an article about a North Dakota legislator’s attempt to pass a law saying Jesus is King).
An ad for a book called “The Trump Code: Exploring Time Travel, Nikola Tesla, the Trump Lineage, and America’s Future.”

The price has been reduced from $19.99 to $14.99 — MIGHTY SAVINGS INDEED, WORTHY OF A CHAMPION!!!!!

Sometimes I talk about “the waters anons are swimming in,” which are comprised of: * conspiracy-theory content * the more-vanilla sense of grievance and outrage peddled by the right-wing infosphere. Anons switch between these two lanes VERY easily, as you can see in these screenshots.

Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk was so giddy to pin the New Orleans terror attack on an undocumented immigrant that he initially spread this lie off the fake intel of an anonymous groyper nazi in his replies.
Charlie Kirk: Why do we know nothing about the suspect in New Orleans other than he is dead?! Who is he? Where did he come from?

Chief Trumpster: He’s an illegal, per FOX. Came from Texas border.

Charlie Kirk: Thank you.

This is true! No one is immune from The Bullshit and its siren song — but certainly for the past many years, conspiracy thinking has been *more prominent* on the right side of the spectrum than the left. (At least in the American context; can’t speak for other countries.)

I’m watching anons discuss health matters, and… look, buddy, your doctor is not suppressing The Truth About Cholesterol. Take the fucking statins. Jesus Christ.
QAnon followers (one of them a major Q influencer) discussing cholesterol.

One woman is worried that “eating so much meat will hurt the cholesterol intake.”

“They lied to us about cholesterol,” replies the influencer.

A third anon jumps in: “Doc said I had high cholesterol and need to start a statin. Not doing it. Does cholesterol REALLY clog our veins?”

A fourth replies: “No!! It doesn’t.”

All of this is stupid, contrarian bullshit, by the way. Just listen to your friggin’ doctor, reader.

Update from the Q-o-sphere: Liz Crokin, possibly the most famous Pizzagate promoter on Earth, *has herself been Pizzagated* by an influencer with 137K followers. He discovered a Facebook message that, under Pizzagate rules of evidence, *really does prove* she’s a pedo. This is funny and good.
Part 1 of a post by Q influencer Ariel, accusing Liz Crokin of attending pedophile parties with other members of the Cabal.

It reads: “A pizza party? ‘Cray places,’ Liz? So not the usual normal places, house, hotel, restaurant?… wait, drugs, medical mask, and hallucinations? So it’s safe to assume when you were invited to Richard Branson’s ‘Pedo Island’ you checked all the boxes?”

It includes a Facebook post from 2012 in which someone tags Liz Crokin; the text on the post reads “Cedar’s Sinaii Pizza Party!” (crokin’s reply is in the next pic.)A photo of Crokin’s reply to the “Cedar’s Sinaii Pizza Party” post.

It reads: “We’ve had pizza parties in a lot of cray places — I never thought we’d have one in quarantine wearing medical masks! At least I got the good drugs that gave me sweet dreams and hallucinations about pizza!” (Hashtag Silver lining).

I wanna stress: he has her *dead to rights* on this. By Pizzagate rules of evidence, this is an incredibly suspicious communication & more than enough to prove she molested children for Satan.

By actual normal human standards of evidence, it proves nothing and frankly it sounds a lot like she was a patient. Liz Crokin is, by the rules of evidence *normies* use, 100% innocent.

But in Pizzagate Land? Oh boy, this is damning. Two further posts from Q influencer “Ariel,” claiming that “the Cabal used these places for experiments. Here is a list of mind control and child exploitation centers,” which includes hospitals.

He adds that (at some unspecified point), the hospital at issue here employed a pedophile.

This, again by Pizzagate rules of evidence, means that the pedo in question was organizing child sexual exploitation under the code name of “pizza parties.”

Ariel is 100% within bounds of Pizzagate orthodoxy in this interpretation. It’s an incredibly STUPID interpretation and is evidence-free (at least, as you or I would understand evidence).

But it’s legit *for Pizzagaters*, and that’s his target audience.
