4 panel comic

Panel 1:
A post from “kavishj9611” that reads:

“All the people who are anti-Al or want to slow Al progress, I have one question:
If Al disappeared tomorrow, could you still get through an entire workday without ChatGPT, Claude, or any other
Al tool?
Imagine Al was suddenly banned.
Would you actually be willing to give it up?”

Panel 2:
And Orange Guy and a Pink Guy are standing in a room that has two pipes in it. Both pipes are pumping raw sewage into the room. The characters are waist deep in it.
Orange Guy says smugly “Ok Mr “I don’t want to be in a room that’s filling up with raw sewage” let me ask you this”

Panel 3:
The sewage has reached their chests. Pink Guy is gagging. Orange Guy smugly continues “If all this sewage disappeared right now, could you get through the day without it?”

Panel 4:
The sewage is almost up to their eyeballs. Orange Guys says “Look at that shit floating past your face. Are you willing to give that up?”

“A world that tiny cannot possibly be the center of a cosmos of all that is, let alone the sole focus of its creator. The pale blue dot is a silent rebuke to the fundamentalist, the nationalist, the militarist, the polluter—to anyone who does not put above all other things the protection of our little planet and the life that it sustains in the vast cold darkness.”

Maybe this hasn’t sunk in for anyone who should care but the NHS was birthed when the UK *literally had negative money*. The USA had razed us of every penny to pay for weapons to defend ourselves against Germany, Germany had bombed all our industrial sites. We still did it in 6 months. 6.

Just so, and the whole point of declaring Palestine Action to be a terrorist group equivalent to Al Qaeda or ISIS was just this: to demonstrate that the government can and will arbitrarily declare you a terrorist, the courts will absolutely enforce that and the press will collaborate gladly.
George Monbiot @georgemonbiot.b... • 18m
And don't imagine for one moment that it's going to stop here. The pressure for expanding the definition of terrorist to anyone protesting against the Israeli government's genocide is already rising. bsky.app/protile/netp...

If Reform had won, Labour's statement would be that this result is a stark reminder we need to listen and learn from voters who rightly feel betrayed by modern politics. But the Greens won by a comfortable margin, so it's: these voters are stupid and also sinister and, ugh, Muslims

thing that makes 'who will replace keir starmer?' such a boring question is that nothing will change bcos the problem with this government isn't who the prime minister is. it's the upper echelons of the labour party itself and that isn't going to change at all.

the primary blocker to UBI is the puritan belief that humanity is so sinful and depraved that it should not be permitted personhood unless it becomes 'civilised' that's how liberal social policy ended up asserting that helping people would harm them but hurting people would help them

What kind of corrupt bastard government would deliberately hollow out their country to enrich and empower their own class of wealthy swine, at the public’s expense, meaning they no longer have the capacity to build and maintain essential products and services

Russia's Potemkin president has hollowed out the state to line his own and his friends' pockets.
The gaps are striking and the likely fall in energy prices that would follow a peace deal would expose them further.
