Toxic masculinity is a great way to get into a lot of fights. It's not a good way to win wars. Or avoid them. There is zero leadership quality to this sycophantic MAGA toady.

Disciplined Duelist - for Magic: The Gathering's Streets of New Capenna AD: Sarah Wassell The first painting I completed for Magic and still one of my favourites.
A man strides across a dimly lit hallway, brandishing magical gauntlets. He rolls up a sleeve in anticipation of a fight to come. The shapes of the composition are angular and art-deco-inspired.

Oh, and that doesn't consider the deductible. And we hit our out-of-pocket max (for the year) ages ago. The final figure for the year is going to be ridiculous.

Universal Health Care should be the main talking point of the Dems, it really is aggravating that we don't have it yet. Screw the big insurance corporations for stealing our money to deny services. Get Big Money Out of OUR Government.

I'm self-employed, and have to pay for my family's insurance out of pocket. We have multiple complicated conditions and medications to deal with. I'm out $4,000/mo just in premiums and medication, before any visits or procedures. I'm on this treadmill until I die.

The image is of a four panel comic.
The first panel shows Sarah, the protagonist, working at a desk. A brain next to her says, "We need to take breaks!"
The second panel zooms in on Sarah's face. She is annoyed. She says, "What if I don't listen to you?"
The third panel shows the brain smiling.
The fourth panel shows the brain reaching towards a lever. The brain says, "I'LL MAKE YOU."

Their tamagotchAI keychain is a desperate entry in the "solution looking for problems" category, trying to make AI usage a lifestyle behavior. Every use case they trotted out was bizarrely niche or simplistically banal, and didn't approach relevance or relatability.

Four panel comic. Panel 1: two guys playing basketball outside. Guy 1 looks off to the side and asks, “is someone in the window?” Panel 2: a creepy ghost woman stands in the upstairs window of a house, watching them. Panel 3: Guy 2 calls up to the creepy ghost, “you wanna hoop?” Panel 4: the ghost is outside playing basketball with them. She bricks a shot from the free throw line. Guy 2 says, “that’s H-O-R.”

Surprisingly little; just a slight invitation to fill it up with pieces of themselves, attached to a minimum necessary scaffolding. Anywhere they fear, or long, to find things they fear, or long about themselves. Everything else is set dressing.

Wide shot of the BRITISH MUSEUM. There are suggestions of fascism around the streets - tanks, barricades, an Orwellian 'Big Brother'-style poster on a wall. A voice of a TOUR GUIDE emanates from the museum:

TOUR GUIDE:
So the Tapestry tells acrucial chapter of our nation's history...

2
[Cut to interior of museum. A long Bayeaux-style TAPESTRY is on display, and the Tour Guide is speaking to a tour group]

TOUR GUIDE [smiling]:
How modern fascist Britain was created.

3
TOUR GUIDE:
The Tapestry begins here with the 2008 Crash, then austerity, then the AI Crash...

4
TOUR GUIDE:
...and by the end of the room it's just full-on fash.

5
CHILD IN TOUR GROUP [gesturing to the tapestry]:
What's this middle bit?

TOUR GUIDE:
This is the 2026 Battle of Legitimate Concerns

6
TOUR GUIDE:
[show a reporter standing next to the Dover protests]
Here's the media saying the government have got to do something about the legitimate concerns...

7
CHILD:
...About the failure of capitalism?

TOUR GUIDE:
No about brown people on boats

8
CHILD:
[pointing at boats crossing the sea on the tapestry]
Are these boats the mega-dinghies?

TOUR GUIDE:
Not all of them

9
[we see one of the boats is a giant yacht]
TOUR GUIDE:
That one's a superyacht,
carrying money from the American fascists to the British ones.

10
TOUR GUIDE:
You see really it's as much a story of convergence as it is of conflict.

[An alarm sounds in the museum]
DING DING DING DING

11
TOUR GUIDE:
Ok, tour over everyone

12
TOUR GUIDE:
It's time for the Two Minute Hate!

[They all leave the museum]

[ends]

Their artistic traditions must have been incredibly prolific to start doing "production runs" of art pieces, or to adorn more common items with intricate work. The quality of form, line, color (number and selection), and level of detail are on par with any traditional (non-digital) artist today.

The composition and artistic techniques in this look so incredibly modern I went and looked it up, and it's amazing: there are multiple surviving plates using this same, but not identical pose, and the thinking is its a scribe painting/writing in a codex (of which very few survive).

I say this not to be contrarian or cynical, but I have learned that so many hopeful sentiments are rooted in survivorship bias, and do not reflect the reality of those whom society fails. No, I say this for urgency, and encouragement: those that are able, look after one another. Be the one to help.

T-Rex: Sherlock Holmes, who was the world's greatest detective but complete rubbish at baking, sighed.

T-Rex: His latest cake was, once again, complete rubbish!T-Rex: He was BEYOND frustrated. He'd TRIED using his detective skills to deduce why his cakes sucked so bad, but even so, they only ever told him why THIS cake sucked (he accidentally used a cup of baking soda instead of a teaspoon) and not why the NEXT cake would suck.
Dromiceiomimus: They always sucked for a completely new reason?
T-Rex: They ALWAYS sucked for a completely NEW reason!!
Utahraptor: Surely at some point he'd run out of new ways to ruin cakes?
T-Rex: You'd think!

T-Rex: "But sadly there are SO MANY WAYS to ruin a cake," Sherlock sighed, as he put his batter into the oven on the top rack instead of the centre one, which would, 40 minutes later, burn the cake's top while leaving the bottom underdone.
Utahraptor: Sherlock, no!!
T-Rex: He can't hear you! He's fictional!!
T-Rex: And he's having the WORST DAY of his FICTIONAL LIFE - and to make matters EVEN WORSE, the WHOLE WORLD is going to hear about it, because I'm writing it down and publishing it all!!
Off panel: Nooooooo
