as an animator i can't stress enough how important it is to take breaks and do activities that DON'T involve drawing read a book, watch a movie, play a game, learn how to knitt. you'd be surprised how quickly your creative juices get replenished by just enjoying yourselves

only 4 hours into Pragmata and the thing i like most is the subversion of Hugh being the 'grumpy old guy taking care of and warming up to the little kid' character trope and instead just being a chill guy and great father figure to Diana despite stating he doesn't want any kids pretty refreshing

movie gud story and message didn't blow my mind but the artstyle and animation were crisp, the performances were great and i liked how they utilized the animals being actual animals. plus the basketball "action scenes" were dope as hell
