During the pandemic, I first noticed a house on my 🚲 route that had hundreds, maybe thousands of daffodils all blooming almost defiantly. Those flowers were so uplifting to me! I left a postcard of thanks in that home's mailbox and received a sweet email in return.

What the author ignores is an observation I’ve seen with my own learners: providers are ⬆️ more likely to want to pursue testing than potential patients. We must be careful not to return to patriarchal medical models where providers tell patients what is best without considering they may already know
