Also, "my lawyer" is my Neofriend's boyfriend who lives in Australia, who IS a lawyer but notably different laws from California, so there's that angle to consider even before figuring out the logistics of the eight foot death pit. I have to imagine the laws are not too different here honestly.

Had a dream a burglar broke in my front door then fell into an eight foot sheer pit I had directly in my entryway, Minecraft style. Have consulted my lawyer to see if this would be good home defense, but he said probably not something I could get away with unless I defend it as ongoing renovations

according to aonuma, the Zelda remake’s goal was to be part realistic and part nostalgia for the original game, so I would make the argument they aren’t based on puppets, but instead the reason they have high angled eyes and strong pointed features is because they’re based on the in-game N64 models
