ya know, I’ve given Crocket shit for refusing to explicitly endorse Talarico, but do you know who deserves more shit? Janet Mills. First, she runs the worst campaign of all time, basically gifting the race to the nazi tattoo guy. now, she is refusing to endorse Troy Jackson. tf is wrong with her?

what the fuck is wrong with the teamsters man Roger Marshall is a ghoul who sued his own patients and threw them in prison!
Kansas Teamsters Back Pro-Labor Candidate for U.S. Senate
Press Contact: Kara Deniz Phone: (202) 497-6610 (Topeka, Kan.) - Today, Teamsters Local 696 endorsed Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) for re-election to the U.S. Senate.
"Sen. Marshall has proven time and time again that he is a friend of labor," said Teamsters General President Sean M.
O'Brien. "As a member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions, Sen. Marshall has been eager to partner with us on legislation that protects workers, even when it requires breaking rank with his own party. We look forward to continuing to work together with Sen. Marshall to fight for the rights of hardworking Americans."

Please stop overestimating what a democratic Congress can do. The oligarchs are spending money to make you think a Dem Congress can arrest people and hold trials and pass laws without a POTUS signature so that you’ll be disappointed when they don’t do stuff they can’t do. Don’t fall for it.

Sen. Susan Collins helped steer millions in federal defense contracts to Navatek, whose CEO illegally funneled thousands of dollars to her campaign. The FBI sought to launch a probe and was eyeing Collins and other lawmakers. Then Trump gutted the unit in charge. THREAD 🧵
Martin Kao, CEO of defense contractor Navatek, poses next to Sen. Susan Collins for a photo. Collins is holding a model of a boat in her hands. Behind them is a large sign with the Navatek logo.

Flock cameras have no place in Texas. They can piece together an exact map of your behavior — the places you went and how long you were there. Flock calls this “pattern-of-life” mapping. Texans call it something else: government overreach.

I’m not going to hail Barrett and Roberts for allowing us to count our votes. It’s a huge win for democracy, but it shouldn’t have even been a question. That we were one vote away from disenfranchising votes is all the more reason to expand the court in 2029.

The housing bill passed the House 396 to 13 and the Senate 85 to 5. Under more normal circumstances, there would be no serious question that it could pass on a veto override. How many Republicans will flip-flop on it because Trump's being crazy? I guess we'll see.

preparing my weekly anecdote to the decadence of a professional class that constantly chases novel gustatory experiences
Four pancakes cooking on a dark non-stick griddle, viewed from directly above.

The pancakes are arranged in a 2×2 grid. All four have been flipped and show their cooked second side — golden brown to deep brown in color, with a characteristic mottled, bubbly surface texture indicating doneness. The edges are irregular and lacy. Two additional partially visible pancakes appear at the left edge of the frame. The griddle surface is dark gray/black.
