Watch your back, Ohio. This isn't over.

A CTA bus shelter of the sort with an LED info sign at either end. In this case the sign reads 'Ohio will be eliminated.'

We've been in awe of the public transport in Norway this last week. These incredible bus stops are everywhere. This one, on a tiny single track road above a lake, making access to communities possible without a car. Also LOOK AT THE ROOF! Some of them have saplings growing out of them! 🤩

A brown wooden open fronted hut with a roof covered in mosses, grass and small saplings. It's nestled in a lush green hillside near a building. There are postboxes for local residents inside.

It was so good to meet international members of the bus shelter community today. It's been a couple of years since Willich Bus Shelter came to visit from Germany!

Saw this ad for a goat on Facebook. It’s perhaps the greatest advert I’ve ever read. It’s just superb.

I was curious and braved the heat to stop by the TADC bus stop again. A lot of the art had been taken down, but new artwork took its place.

Your readers may like to know, re bus shelter cleaning: JCDecaux shelters in the City Centre are cleaned weekly. Outwith the city centre once every 2 weeks. They're cleaned by JCDecaux. All other Council shelters are supposedly cleaned once/56 days; currently sub-contracted from JCDecaux to Mitie.

Fibreglass rhinos on top of a bus shelter. That's probably worth a trip to Dumfries... www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Why are two fibreglass rhinos guarding a Scottish housing estate?

Police told Robbie Coleman his artwork would not last the weekend but it is still there decades later.

We are rolling out the £2 bus fare cap across the Highlands and Islands, delivering real savings. Just two examples: 📍 Wick-Inverness, £31 down to £2. 📍 Elgin-Inverness, £15.60 ➡️ £2. And we are protecting free bus travel for under-22s, over-60s and disabled people.

Firth of Forth up in Scotland - near Edinburgh. Nobody seems to know how they got there other than they might have escaped from a local garden centre. There's an article about them: www.dunfermlinepress.com/news/2427821...
