Spent all of this afternoon watching The Odyssey at a nearby IMAX. It's the first time I've been to one & it's both big & very noisy. The movie itself was good & the giant screen made everything much more visceral.

I've finally watched Spider-Man: Brand New Day & it's amazing. Easily the best one yet. I managed avoid most of the spoilers. Definitely felt like a fresh take on an old character. Sadie Sink's Jean Grey makes an impressive debut & it was great to see an authentic Frank Castle in a family movie!

I'm finally up to date with Silo S3. After a slow start those last few episodes went so quickly & were very tense. At first I wasn't keen on the flashbacks but they got really interesting & became essential. Hopefully S4 will fill in some of the details of the first days of the Silo.

All caught up with Space Reacher aka Lanterns. I enjoyed the series & would watch more - it just needs to do something different next time round.

This week's Sunday evening movie was Horrible Histories: The Movie. I've watched Ghosts so I thought I'd give this a try. It was funny in places & had a really great cast. I've seen clips of the series, but I understand that it's much better than this.

Spent this afternoon watching an orchestral performance of some of the best film music of all time. It had a wide range of music including John Williams, Hans Zimmer, John Barry & Elmer Bernstein. Also met a friendly squirrel at the nearby park!

The conductor dressing as Indiana Jones much to the delight of the orchestra.

This week's Saturday evening movie was Cold Storage. Nothing new but still quite fun. Basically Steve Harrington & Liam Neeson vs the zombies from The Last of Us.
