POV: You're giving yourself your 100th dose of estradiol enanthenate.

You're sitting down, looking at your smooth and curvy thighs. Your long beautiful hair drapes in front of your glasses, which you barely notice. Your large breasts are proud mounds on your chest, and are pushed together slightly by your left arm reaching over to your right thigh. Your right hand is gently holding a syringe with the needle painlessly piercing your right thigh. Your thumb is posed to press the syringe plunger and send a drop of that feminizing fluid into your body where it will slowly suffuse every cell for a whole week until your next dose. Digital drawing.

Tobi time... but also, not quite! 🌃🐍⚡ A warped entity bearing the instincts of two species, both Natural and Other 🎨: @spearxwind.bsky.social ⚡💥🔥 ✨Alex put in an absolutely crazy amount of time and patience and work to yield my MHsona - thank you so very much, matey ;-; 🌿 [ #cieran #tobikadachi ]

Digital artwork of a hybrid Monster Hunter monster character, a Tobi-Kadachi with features of a Gore Magala. Text at the top left reads: "Cieran - Aethershift Eclipse Wyvern - Tobi-Kadachi Afflicted By Gore Magala Mutagen"

The anthro form appears more Tobi-like, especially at the head, torso and patagium, and tail; while the limbs and claws are more g. magala

The quadrupedal form however has more g. magala influence clearly showing, with the head and body majorly Gore Magala and the addition of the Magala wing-arms. However, the membranes still appear vaguely fishy, and the tail is that of a Tobi still

Various text informations dot the piece, giving small blurbs about the character's senses or features. At the bottom right are various doodles that Alex independently came up with, these are like the seal for this being a personal character of mine as they are all "Real (tm)", these happen! A billion fish facts BLAST, looking at you with my BIG Tobi-Kadachi eyes, all the works c:

this is the best part of making friends because realizing you can be a certain kind of annoying around a new person and they don't want to shoot you with a gun hits better than any drug you could ever try

A word of encouragement to my trans friends who perhaps were still in the closet ten years ago and don't know what it was like to transition under adversity: No matter what the government stance is, you will find friends, doctors, federal workers who are willing to help you. This is how I did it:

There's a phenomenon I heard that I found really interesting of called the "missing missing reason" issendai.com/psychology/e... For some estranged parents, they can't comprehend why this happened even though they were told specifically why this happened. I do wonder how many cases fall into this

These are what the clouds on Jupiter look up close. The small patches of white are cloud tops, soaring above the main, colourful cloud layer. Image from NASA's Juno spacecraft during its 38th close approach to Jupiter on 29 November 2021, processed by Kevin Gill (@kevinmgill.bsky.social)

A complex, swirling pattern of lighter and darker clouds. One large system, angled to the upper left in this scene, is a tawny brown colour and is elongate. Another, more circular storm system is at lower centre, and is a grey–greenish colour. The background swirls are various shades of grey to blue; small, white features dot the scene.

look, this really isn't complicated. I've talked to SO many people who have had to cut off parents in some way or another, and it literally always boils down to the exact same thing: parents that are unwilling to change behavior in order to keep their child in their life

torn between this oldie and a newer one about the often-abrupt nature of endings. this one's more naturalistic decay over aeons and the shorter-spanned lives that see it, so, eh. #HomeMadeMusic neonorangepylonofterror.bandcamp.com/track/crumbl...

Astonishing really how ADHD-denialism so closely matches early trans-denialism (say, a decade ago, before it went mask-off eliminationist), to the point that it includes the exact same personalities, again vomiting their know-nothing opinions all over the place.

Discworld QOTD, from The Last Hero

"That's seven," said Vena. "Seven of us, against one of him. Seven against one.
And he thinks he's going to save the world.
And he knows who we are and he's still going to fight us..."
"You think he's a hero?" cackled Mad Hamish. "Hah! Wha' kind o' hero works for forty-three dollars a month? Plus allowances!"
But the cackle was all alone in the sudden quietness. The Horde could calculate the particular mathematics of heroism quite quickly.
There was, there always was, at the start and finish... the Code. They lived by the Code. You followed the Code, and you became part of the Code for those who followed you. The Code was it. Without the Code, you weren't a hero. You were just a thug in a loincloth.
The Code was quite clear. One brave man against seven... won. They knew it was true. In the past, they'd all relied on it. The higher the odds, the greater the victory.
That was the Code.
Forget the Code, dismiss the Code, deny the Code... and the Code would take you.

recently I came to a realization about why "smart devices" are so shitty if you take an appliance that creates some sort of physical output, and connect it to a network, what you've actually done is invent a new kind of printer and printers are, of course, the devil's machines
