This is a good illustration of how so much of AI theft isn't indirect (ie, data sucked into a model to train the chatbot) - it's actually **direct** copying, but *enabled* by GenAI. Of course it is: chatbots absolutely suck at creating good, new stuff.

i get why AI is so depressing to me. because covid already shrunk my world to almost nothing, where almost all of my life revolves around socializing and watching videos on the internet (which is being ruined by AI) and creating creative works through coding (which is being ruined by AI), often using open source tools and libraries (which are being ruined by AI)

De la chiasse IA: Une mauvaise parodie de couverture d'un album d'Asterix. On y voit Obelix chasser d'un grand coup de pied une romaine nommée Brecelectronix qui s'envole au son de son bracelet électronique. Elle a les traits de Marine Le Pen. L'ensemble est confus et moche, et a probablement coûté 4h de flotte à robinet ouvert, mais qu'est-ce qu'on en a à foutre, hein ?
