over time the hater population grew, most of the good ones left, and eventually all that was left was the shit-disturbers and those of us that refused to give in to the hate, refused to let negativity into our heart and ruin what we enjoyed. sadly it wasn't the only board it happened to. & they died

The image is of a four panel comic.
The first panel shows Sarah, the protagonist, working at a desk. A brain next to her says, "We need to take breaks!"
The second panel zooms in on Sarah's face. She is annoyed. She says, "What if I don't listen to you?"
The third panel shows the brain smiling.
The fourth panel shows the brain reaching towards a lever. The brain says, "I'LL MAKE YOU."

Feminism doesn't require women to see trans+ people as the enemy. For many of us, feminism has always meant challenging inequality, standing alongside people whose rights are under threat, and refusing to accept that one group's equality must come at another's expense. That's our feminism too.
Woman walking down a street outside, wearing a scarf and shoulder bag. The quote from one of the women who signed our letter reads

“I have grown incredibly exasperated at the portrayal of ‘gender critical’ perspectives as representing all women when my feminism has ALWAYS been inclusive and intersectional.”

Experiencing the kind of people Comic Book Guy on The Simpsons was a parody of was eye-opening. I know I've often failed to live up to that standard, but once you realize that obnoxious fandom people have literally ALWAYS existed, it really changes your perspective. Let's be better, shall we? 😉

btw i think the reason i like magical sigils and worlds based around them is because magical sigils are actually real. you open up a satellite LNB and what you find is shapes wrought from metal to manipulate unseen forces. you can't tell me they're not magical sigils
picture of the inside of a satellite low-noise block downconverter (LNB), the circuit in the focal point of a satellite TV dish. this one's a rectangular metal case with inside of it a printed circuit board full of gold-plated traces. many have strange shapes you wouldn't find in other electronics. scientifically you might call them microstrip filters, but really they're nothing more than a well-understood magical rune

one of the more 'deep magic' parts of electronics i have encountered is "actually, we don't send the current down the copper, that would be a disaster" instead, they use the wire as a waveguide, and get terabit speeds out of it from youtu.be/Em_2YRZjEdI
three strands of copper wire have an airgap in the space between them, and this can be used as a waveguide for high frequency radio signals, rather than sending the current along the actual wire
