It seems very likely that the US has decided to facilitate Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilians to try to force Ukraine to surrender. Betrayal. And if they can do that to Ukraine, they can do it to any ally. We should take note.

In addition to the racism and violent language about the King... Reform would appear to have a misogyny problem too. The party of "protect our women" looks like it needs to start that at home and warning this is offensive stuff. www.itv.com/news/2026-10...
Whelan then discussed another female Reform
candidate in Birmingham, saying that he "would
have been sniffing that seat as soon as she got up.
If she'd have given me a hug I'd have f******

candidate from Solihull, using sexist and sexually
aggressive language.

"That's reminded me, I need to buy an orange in a

I have never seen coverage of a live trial, one involving allegations of multiple sex attacks on multiple women, framed in a more distasteful way. It's not 'Fame under fire' it's a rape trial. And it involves actual women. And this from the *checks notes* BBC
BBC screengrab from within their Russell Brand trial coverage. Image of Brand in 70s-style aviator glasses, with earpods in, blank expression. Long dark wavy hair, black and grey beard, dark unbuttoned shirt. All on a fire red/orange and black background
BBC logo top and centre, underneath a subdeck reading: Fame Under Fire. Then the headline 'Russell Brand On Trial'.
The words 'fire'and 'trial' are coloured to look like they are glowing orange at the bottom

Plan unveiled to increase share of land farmed organically in England to 10%
Government says ambition for 2036 will be good for food and climate resilience, but concerns remain over funding The government has set an ambition to increase the share of English land farmed organically to 10% by 2036, but concerns remain over how the transition will be funded. Currently, just 3.4% of England’s agricultural land is farmed organically, one of the smallest shares in Europe. France, for example, farms 10.4% of its land organically, and aims to increase this to 18% by 2027. Continue reading...

It’s almost irrelevant whether Russia interfered in the Brexit campaign. Putin still cheered the result. When a geopolitical decision delights one of Britain’s principal adversaries, you don’t need a report to tell you Brexit wasn’t good for Britain.

This is equivalent of Trump rejecting FBI assessment of Russian interference in US elections. It’s not “Burnham’s” claim, it’s our own intelligence agencies’ assessment. Denying it for political advantage is both shameful AND short sighted, as it does nothing to enhance her credibility.

This is just not true. As soon as I became
foreign secretary I asked the security
services the same question and they
replied that there was no evidence of any
successful interference in the 2016
referendum, by Russia or any other power

Either the security services have changed
their view - which would be very odd - or

told. After all Starmer was in power for two
