In early 2025, I assumed the Trump regime would delete the Department of Justice’s press releases and other statements related to more than 1,000 Jan. 6 cases. So I downloaded them. We’ve now made them available to the public with a search tool. They can’t erase history. jan6memoryproject.org

back in the olden days DOJ would investigate a particular crime it believed had been committed, rather than just poking around to see if anything was wrong

The investigation is seeking information to see where it leads, the source said. For example, if records, representations related to age and immigration status contain false information, that would provide material for investigators to scrutinize further. They could also examine communications related to such matters.

The current early vote upshot is that pretty much everywhere you look, the Dem % of voters compared to this point in past cycles (2024, 2022) is about 2-5 %age points higher. Dems are super engaged. Rs are hoping for high relative late or Election Day turnout — very hard with an unpopular incumbent
