More of these pulsating,, strobing striplights in an Asda car park. Is this art or am I just a weirdo in a multi storey car park? #videoart #art Epilepsy ⚠️ Warning - contains flashing lights.

No proper eclipse, no Perseids tonight, and the Cosmos update didn't drop for No Man's Sky. Rubbish. Here's my floof hanging around in the garden wondering what the fuss was all about. No, she's not a Dalek.

Has anyone made a study of modern urban megaliths? Many mid to late 20th century urban spaces and housing estates have rock piles like these. This spectacular array in Currie,nr Edinburgh is only enhanced by this magnificent tree remnant. #megaliths #stonecircles #folklore @stoneclub.bsky.social

Sad times. In the 1970s I had a Budgie (Aka: Baby Chopper), a real Chopper and then a Grifter, Raleigh's attempt at a BMX, but the designers had only ever seen a photo of a BMX. It weighed a ton. Many a grazed knee and elbow coming off a bit of wood propped up on bricks, DIY Evel Kinevel style.
My childhood. Yes, I remember when everything was in black and white. That's not me on the right.

DREICH has to be my favourite name for a Scottish death metal band. I have no idea what the name of the headline band is.
+6 Dreich is a traditional Scots word meaning wet, gloomy, and dreary, most often used to describe foul, grey, and miserable weather.

At the Reflecting Pool, and guys, this doesn't look right.
"I am the spirit of dark and lonely water: ready to trap the unwary, the showoff, the fool..." intones the voiceover, "...and this is the kind of place you'd expect to find me. But no-one expects to find me here. It seems too ordinary", as the scene switches to a group of children playing on the muddy edge of a murky pool. A boy is teetering on the steep, slippery bank attempting to retrieve a football from the pool with a stick. "But that pool is deep. The boy is showing off...the bank is slippery," says the spirit, approaching from behind...

Frazer Brown is a desperate and sad individual trying to forge friendships and alliances where there were none. The whole #TFTQ saga, nay, fiasco is a warning to everyone about big promises but nothing to back them up. FB cynically used COVID to ensnare comic creatives into his £37,000 charity scam.

Really enjoying Small Prophets. Brilliant performances all round with humour and pathos in equal measure. Mackenzie Crook is a bit of modern folk culture hero in my eyes between this, Detectorists and his reimagined Worzel Gummage. www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio...

Charity shop find of the day. Some of my earliest illustration and music memories are right here. As a seven year old kid I was obsessed with this album and the gatefold booklet. It belonged to my big brother but I played it to death, so my old copy is trashed. So lucky to find a nice replacement.

Popped over to my mothballed X account to make sure I unfollowed Frazer Irving. Just out of interest I peeked into his 'following' list. Ooft. Not good. Some real awful people in there. No one deserves to be homeless, but not everyone deserves sympathy and your hard earned cash. Think carefully.
