Officially over 55yr unemployment is around 4%. This doesn’t inc probably the same number (+4%) who aren’t counted. “Too much” savings to qualify, (oh sorry for paying all that tax.) There’s no work for over 55s. The NZ super panic is another excuse for “smaller govt” Look at Aussie tax rates….

In the video, members of the crowd can be heard claiming the meeting was being shut down “to protect the Labour mass murderer”.

Harford said candidates and others formed a barricade around Verrall as the group crowded around her, at times “sticking their arms through and trying to grab at her”.

“I’m not quite sure what their end goal was but they all wanted to get up in her face.

“There were a few of us holding them back and it got to the point where we were having to physically shove them back.”
