Washington Post denied again it had any ties with journalists. Asked if it knew Bernstein or Woodward, and would investigate Watergate if it happened now, The Post could not recall and refused to answer.

Equally funny on trojan horse hysteria: basic absence of "reading the website", "listening to *all* the words". I mean if i voted tory & saw GM of centrist party was ex-Labour MP, & Philip Mills was major donor, i may blandly concoct an entryist fantasy. Electoral maths don't have feelings.

Act's donors have 1 purpose, "keep labour out". Obv a political genius saying on Tues OPP won't make 5%, on Thurs, we can work with them. Smelling the fear. Meanwhile, worth knowing what one of OPP's big donors thinks. & checking OPP's views on Tiriti. newsroom.co.nz/2026/05/12/m...

Sub tweeting across entirely different subject. If you’re main objective is winning election and your only path to Government is with a major party, don’t do photo shoots with gangs *in the campaign* doh. Get the selfies with patches after.

The main reason media were so meh and dismissive of Nicky Hager's book is they bought the whole "nation is divided" Maori taking over water BS, and won't face the consequences on what repealing 3 Waters really means for everybody. FAFO for low-info voters, shrugs in media "not me guv"

non-partisan reckon: Media groups 'em with opposition in reporting on polls, either thru "unconscious bias" or cos Luxon ruled 'em out. Smart thing for centrist party peeling votes across spectrum is to be ..... centrist. How it turns out? "Talk to party with most votes/accepts bottom lines".

We're planning a public execution. We only admit white "refugees" from a former apartheid state. Our domestic security service uses white nationalist messaging. And the president routinely appears to encourage or endorse violence against his opponents & the media. Nothing subtle or complicated here.

If the CGT on table won't make a difference why are donors paying $7M to coalition parties to prevent it? there are no serious media voices making a case for change, not surprising given their ties to same individuals and interests as donors to the coalition.

Really clear Labour have run worst campaign and strategy all year and since losing in '23. "Don't mention the war" mentality. Let themselves be cornered on economy, debt, inflation. There are far more people who bought the narrative Luxo/WIllis sold, than those sick of Nats bashing Lab.

Tired of bluesky left raging against centre Opportunity party, when Labour won't fight for their own vote on left. Edmonds Q&A v Willis. Could've slammed Willis into turf but just let Willis tell lies. Can't even berate Willis for only noticing KiwiSaver 20 years late, after gutting it.

Labour's rope a dope, small target, don't mention COVID, don't defend our record, don't talk about the past, don't rip the last 3 years' worst economy since the 90s, on full show with Barbara v Nicola on Q&A. Edmonds is far brighter than Willis. But Labour chose a poodle strategy.
