"Ravenswood" is a Dungeons & Dragons sounding name for a neighborhood. Chicago based individual, but still New Orleans related. Georgia raised via UGA & SSI.

Our best bet would be to ask all our alders to get the city a rat birth control contract. Especially if paired with more traditional traps, it could really reduce the population

So rat birth control needs to be widespread and reapplied weekly to be effective, as it is reversible and dependent on rats encountering it as a food source. I don’t know what the pricing looks like for individual buildings, but best to go in on it with your whole block.

Reflecting on this again. Two of my HS teachers now work at Roosevelt. In the week following Good's killing, I raised money for pens/notebooks/sketchbooks/paint markers for Roosevelt students bc I didn't know what else to do. The teachers got them to kids, incl students staying home out of fear.

Alternative response programs, where mental health clinicians respond to 911 calls instead of police, have proliferated since George Floyd's murder. What does it take to do this work well?

It is one of most enchanting, moving, heartwarming shows I've seen & I want audiences here to experience it🙏
