Yea! This is shit you don't want to underestimate! I would ask why the fuck but the answer is always money. Is there a way to report this to nuclear authorities or something?

I'm usually not a bit fan of SLC or Utah (I got terrifying relatives there), but they're most likely not going to build this with nuclear safety in mind. With how much goes into maintaining a NPS, especially this far inland, it's not going to safely last.
