I saw Goose’s shadow. While I was caddying for my son today, a mid-level MA3 player called a stroke penalty on a cardmate because their missed putt rolled back and touched the disc that they had used to approach. It was technically correct, but against the spirit of the game - IMHO. 平 #DiscGolf 🥏

For disc golf rules I think besides only having officials call top three lead cards during the final, I think players should be able to ask a marshal to spray down lie boundaries prior to a shot, especially for awkward lies. Like on a steep hill slope with a partially hidden basket.

So, somebody on Reddit scraped the data and there were THREE stance violation calls at Worlds in 1,300+ rounds—I forgot about the cut in the quoted post—and the other two were egregious ones where a player played from the wrong lie. #DiscGolf
