I don't care what anyone says windy disc golf is the best disc golf. Your disc selection matters so much more. Your ability to observe and react is tested. Plus you get to see the discs do some truly crazy shit.

My favorite name for something in tech is TWAIN drivers (used to connect to scanners). It doesn't stand for anything, it's from the following line of a Kipling poem "And never the twain shall meet". Apparently imaging has been a PITA since the very beginning.

I personally think the AI as an assistant probably follows the Balmer peak. Some sort of sweet spot of productivity, but on either side you are in dumb ass city.

As a sysadmin there is no company I have loyalty to, they are all bad and it's a matter off chosing the best worst option. Except VMware. God I loved them. VMware's hypervisor is the far and away thr best, and they had stellar support. Amazing to watch them throw that away so thoroughly.

For disc golf rules I think besides only having officials call top three lead cards during the final, I think players should be able to ask a marshal to spray down lie boundaries prior to a shot, especially for awkward lies. Like on a steep hill slope with a partially hidden basket.

I live very close to the fair and it's so funny that people drive to it. How is finding parking in all this traffic any faster than taking on of the park and rides? Anyway, anyone who drives to the fair is my sworn enemy and I'd appreciate if they stopped driving down my residential street at 50.

Playing FTL yesterday, great run got a lucky halberd beam in first sector. Just flush with cash, I'm going to win it for sure. Hop into a node with solar flares, the enemy missiles my doors and then my O2 and my crew suffocates after putting out the solar flare fires. perfect game. 10/10

I've kinda stopped throwing mid range discs and have mostly moved to throwing putters. Between the zone, envy, and inner core I can get almost the same distance but more controlled. I do bag a roc3 and buzzz ss but am even using those less and less.

Got back this week from Chicago (cool city!). We took the train and man just getting on the train and showing your ticket after it starts rolling was really nice? Also such a chill way to travel with kids. Can reccomend.
