Nice! I one of those at the vintage gaming expo I went to today. It’s a stunning card & a great trophy for the PC. Congrats! You would have loved the expo - so many amazing Pokémon cases at most of the vendors tables. I had to restrain myself! 🤑

…There were also competitions going on for things like Tetris, NBA Jams, & Smash Bros. An overwhelming environment, but a great experience overall.

Just got back from the Portland Retro Gaming Expo - we had a great time! -free play vintage arcade games and pinball! -every possible retro gaming console set up & available for play! -vendors selling everything imaginable (my son got a 3DS XL & some games for $250)! Well worth the ticket price!

👍 He’s rated 855, but he’s clearly an MA2 level disc golfer. I think he just gets in his head during tournaments, and hasn’t had the confidence to take the wins yet. I believe that this win will change that & I imagine that he’ll make the jump up soon!

I had a great time at the Hab/Rec today, even though I was disappointed in my performance. Lots of good folks and the vibe was top notch! I was in 3rd place (MA2) going into round two, but then my game absolutely went to 💩. Good thing it wasn’t PDGA sanctioned. 😂 平 #DiscGolf 🥏

I learned yesterday that a new Applin card just dropped. Once I saw it, I HAD to have it, so I traded in about 30 basic EX cards and a $20 slab for the only gem box available… PULLED IT! 🍎 #Pokémon 🍏

Caddying was way more stressful than I expected. Giving good wind reads, proposing routes, & discussing disc selection was cerebrally challenging, but helping him stay positive was also very difficult. He played very well there recently, so I knew he just needed some confidence & a green light.

💯 it was crazy. None of the other cardmates wanted to call it, but he made a big stink. He asked if anyone else saw it & one of them (reluctantly) said that he had. Once he heard that, it was a done deal. Again, it WAS technically correct, but it felt unnecessary.

I saw Goose’s shadow. While I was caddying for my son today, a mid-level MA3 player called a stroke penalty on a cardmate because their missed putt rolled back and touched the disc that they had used to approach. It was technically correct, but against the spirit of the game - IMHO. 平 #DiscGolf 🥏
