I guess I'm a centrist. Don't worry, Bluesky. Only when it comes to late 90s apocalyptic space object movies. Deep Impact is well written. It has actual characters. But it is a slow burn. Armageddon is silly fun trash. Both have valid points. Fans of each should go to lunch and discuss!

I know these companies are counting on a government bail out when the AI bubble pops, and they just might get it. Then again, they might not. I don't think they or the most pro-AI politicians quite anticipate how unpopular that would be across the political spectrum.

T-Mobile has gotten super aggressive with reminder texts when the due date of the bill is coming up. Mine is due tomorrow. They've already sent 2 texts. I wonder if this means there's been an increase in customers missing payments? A recession indicator?

This is true, and the same goes for athletes who are pursuing the Olympics or professional sports careers. In fact, one of the drugs that was found in then 15 year old figure skater Kamila Valieva's positive doping test was a puberty blocker. There was no outrage from transphobes about it.

I hope so! I've never been a single issue voter before, but I will be in the 2028 Democratic presidential primary. Whoever runs hardest on accountability and has specific plans to make it happen gets my support. And I hope early primary state voters feel the same.

Important 🧵 I've seen a lot of people - mostly men - on here who are otherwise progressive and who agree that cops and prosecutors are liars and bigots under any other circumstances take the DA statements at face value to excuse disbelieving the victim. It's wild how the most random little thing can evoke such strong memories of a loved one who has died. I had cinnamon toast for breakfast and it felt like I was in my grandparent's kitchen. My grandmother loved cinnamon and that was a frequent breakfast when I stayed with them.
