I live in Standish and we’ve gotten donated stuff from Ted Cook’s, Northbound, Baker’s Wife, etc. - like @kalmn.bsky.social said, you just gotta go ask! We even had Key West Bistro bring by a box of key lime sugar cookies one year. Neighborhood businesses are, in my experience, happy to donate!

I’m slow as heck but I’m proud; this is the furthest (and longest) I’ve ever run on a treadmill. Should have been 12 and outside but the AQI was horrible and tomorrow I drive to Grand Marais to get my oldest from the BWCA so can’t do it this weekend. Mental toughness training FOR SURE.
