Well, I know what animated movie from 1986 I'll be watching tonight. Trivia: The 4:3 version of Transformers is the intended experience; that's how it was presented in its theatrical run. One 4k UHD version crops in to fit 16:9, which also isn't much of a picture upgrade at that zoom level.

Built my rig 3 years ago. The AIO cooler is failing and the system constantly throttles down when hitting thermal protection. I have a replacement cooler...but I'm afraid to replace it because ram and storage prices are so high that if I break something I might not be able to afford a replacement...

Happy PC Day! It's the IBM PC's 45th birthday. The Chicago Classic Computer Club (the org that runs #VCFMW) recently accepted this donation of a used IBM PC 5150 system, notable for having its original boxes and packing material (which are much more rare than the items themselves).

I find it both wild and depressing that any source code release I do from now on needs some form of "AI disclaimer" to prevent accusations of vibe-coding. And where's the line? If I write a multi-page technical spec where I did all research/design, then had a model execute it, is that "acceptable"?
