I forgot if I ever mentioned it but I’m back in college to get my associates degree in automotive technology with hopes of a transfer to electrical engineering. HOPEFULLY to the local state university. Currently I’m in Black history, gender studies, and life math. Black history has been excellent.

I’m grateful that ethnic studies have become mandatory classes for transfers to state colleges in california. It’s been good to see things like what justice means, the mass incarceration endemic, and systemic oppression sink in for people who haven’t thought about it before and how it affects them.

Managed to hunt down two photos of the kitbashed model built by Jim Bowers as reference for the original WipEout game, sometime around 1993 or 1994. You can see the logos on it are harvested from other kits- Toyota and Buick logos, USAF roundels, and more that I'm sure someone else could ID

I live in the boonies on like an acre and a half and we got new neighbors on the other side of the creek. They put up a 6 foot chain link fence with barbed wire around their yard, an at first they had two annoying happy dogs. Fine whatever it’s the boonies. But not there’s like 6 dogs going apeshit.
