I think it’s Frankenstein. Some adaptations try to overcorrect what they perceive as ‘wrong’ understandings of the story, removing all the nuances that might make ppl have that perspective

I think I soured on Sonic Colours because everything I liked about it was contextual to where Sonic was at the time Like it was Unleashed with a less intrusive gimmick, a warmup act to Generations, a more chill story where Eggman is the main bad guy for once, but in a vacuum it’s just ok
