My election ballot has arrived! I (and my kids) vote from overseas in my mum’s great state of WA, as she’s my surviving parent, & mostly for whom my vote is based. As a retired veteran & part of the LGBTQA+ community, I’m glad that my mum lives in a state which recognises and supports her. ✅ 🌊

My son became a Flying Officer in the RAF today. He starts pilot training later this year. The Passing Out ceremony was amazing & I’m so bloody proud of him. (He now outranks his dad, who’s retired RAF.) I can’t post pics, so here’s a pic of David Niven from “A Matter of Life and Death” instead.
