The gov't has unveiled plans to make further cuts to PIP & Universal Credit. Its impact assessment shows the changes are likely to lead to 250,000 more adults & 50,000 children being pushed into poverty by 2030. This isn't right. We've written to the Minister for Work & Pensions urging a rethink.

The sum of the two DWP impact assessments and the OBR forecasts looks like: - 250,000 more people in poverty, 50,000 of them kids - one in five of all households that have a disability losing on average about £1,700 a year gross - 150,000 unpaid carers losing carer's benefits
