Here it comes... the large coronal hole is almost directly facing Earth now, which means fast solar wind is 3-4 days away. In fact, NOAA SWPC has just issued a G1/minor storm watch for Oct 2. This means there are chances for mid-latitude auroral displays Thu and Fri nights. #heliophysics

When I taught at an all-boys prep school, we'd do an activity where I had them list every sexual term they could think of. They'd often laugh, as many were absurd things meant for Urban Dictionary. We'd then go through how many terms were violent (~85%) and how many were male-dominant (~90%).

[cctmp] I've resolved my parser generator's FIRST algorithm! Took longer than planned, but I'm happy now. Following this, I just have to code the FOLLOW algorithm. Technically it's just as difficult as FIRST, but in fact it's easier:
