Ces mesures restreignent sévèrement les droits des femmes musulmanes portant le hijab mais aussi plusieurs autres droits comme la suppression des espaces de prière dans les cégep et universités, l'interdiction d'apparaître sur du matériel promotionnel et l'exclusion des mères du bénévolat scolaire en autre. 
Face à cette volonté d'effacement, notre rencontre d'hier soir avec la Dre Zeinab Diab a été un moment de solidarité essentiel. Un espace d'échange authentique où « l'humain » a repris ses droits et toute sa place.

Commission des droits de la personne — sur lesquelles la population n’a

Reminder that Carney has cut funding for Natural Resources Canada, Environment and Climate Change Canada, Indigenous and Northern Affairs, and Indigenous Services. And he has rolled back climate protections, abandoned emissions targets, and is building more pipelines.

Tonight on CBC As It Happens, Carney’s old buddy and hand-picked Energy Minister Tim Hodgson, Goldman Sachs alumnus, said (as if we plebes are all utter fools), “We will grow our way to net zero.” It would be laughable were it not so vile and catastrophic during the climate crisis.

Absolutely insane that Cape Verde — a country of 500,000 — played Spain, Uruguay and Argentina…and lost to none of them in regulation. Easily one of the greatest performances in World Cup history.
