Just did some number crunching using latest (Oct 1) ECMWF seasonal data, and I must say that I've never seen such high predictive confidence in a very wet California winter. This is a truly extraordinary forecast amid a record-strength El Niño event. [Thread: please read to end.]

I've been struggling to force myself to start work (ADHD ass brain) and while the kind of meds I use helps a lot with keeping calmer, i'm not on stims so I don't get the executive function bump other meds give. That said, I threw on an ocean cam in a hawaii and my whole soul relaxed enough to start.
