For my birthday what if you listened to Radio Player 👀

A photo of me, a while 30yo brunette femme, laying on my side and holding a tv with static on the screen, in a blue, dimly lit room, smiling.

I just heard somebody say that Timothée Chalamet shouldn’t have been in a music biopic because he can’t sing but I think what they forgot to take into consideration was that he was playing Bob Dylan.

Happy birthday to the incomparable Jack Davis! One of EC's mainstays, and the artist on the infamous "Foul Play" from Haunt of Fear in 1953. This one sent Dr. Wertham into a rage. In the 1960s & 70s Davis became one of the most sought after magazine cover illustrators. I used to collect them!

There is not a single person in the Democratic Party who is treating the death of USAID with the gravity it deserves. There’s no political issue more important than the death of 14 million people, but they’re just delivering boilerplate condemnations and nothing more.

According to the forecasting models, the current steep funding cuts— coupled with the potential dissolution of the agency—could lead to more than 14 million additional deaths by 2030, averaging more than 2·4 million deaths per year. These deaths include 4·5 million among children younger than 5 years, or more than 700 000 deaths annually.

really does feel like if we can cyberbully the House into passing changes on the shit they openly hate and get it kicked back upstairs again there’s a chance it might not survive the Senate a second time if you live in a GOP state it’s time to ruin a House rep’s life

The Joint Committee on Taxation is up late and busts out this striking distributional analysis of the Senate bill on taxes:

chart shows that under the bill, people making under $30,000 pay more in taxes, and millionaires pay substantially less.

BREAKING: Federal agents in plain clothes and unmarked cars tried to snatch 1st graders from LA elementary schools—told staff they had “parental consent.” They lied. When pressed, they HID THEIR IDS. DHS admits they sent them. This wasn’t a welfare check. It was a test run for a police state.

Screenshot of a post. Text reads:

Dylan tour tweets are like "He covered 'Old McDonald Had A Farm' as a dirge. It was 37 beats per minute. Hadn't done that one in 19 years - never thought I'd see the day. He looked like he wanted to bludgeon his bassist. An eternal mischief maker. I would die for this man"
