Brilliant analysis and worth looking at From a UK perspective our lack of efficiency ironically stems from being too lean on the things that matter - beds, diagnostics, not enough admin/managers. We apparently have the money but not the tools to leverage it.

Had a great two days at #SIVA24 with @sivatrainees.bsky.social. The social media transition from The Bad Place to Bluesky was noticeable. Feels appropriate that this is the final tagged tweet.

Taking a (delayed, inevitably) train reminds me why we don’t more frequently travel by train. If we want to move people onto trains they should be cheaper, faster, and more comfortable than driving. This is none of the above.
