#Audiobook review - Recursion by Blake Crouch I enjoyed the ride, there are two POV characters each with their own narrator. Typically each chapter flips narrators Without getting to spoilers this is a book that demands your attention. And even then you may not understand what exactly is going on

Cover of Recursion by Blake Crouch

It's a decent read.

“how do we win back trump voters in 2026” we don’t. we create an environment where admitting to voting for trump is so socially embarrassing as to render them completely inert. you don’t “win back” trump voters. you demoralize them into staying home. you make it a dunce cap

Did you know that you can cover solo games (card, board, RPGs) without (1) making an excuse why it’s okay to play a game solo and (2) playing it off as if it’s just a silly thing because you “have no friends.” Solo gaming has been, and will continue to be, legitimate. It’s 2026, y’all.

15 years ago when Apocalypse World was new and people were beginning to understand and work with it, it was seductive to look at "acting under fire" and see, not one basic move of several, but the template underlying all the game's moves. Like @kierongillen.bsky.social 's classic gag:

Worldbuilding question for the GMs and writers out there; Who (or what) is one of the most well-known usurpers / traitors to exist in your setting, and how did it all pan out for them? Remember; being a traitor or usurper does NOT necessarily make you a bad guy. #TTRPG
