When I was growing up, the kid next door that was always bigger, faster, and better at any athletic thing he tried ended up in the Olympics. Most people do not really run into elite athletes. They have no real sense of just how much better they are than their kid.

I helped my theater friend spec out a new laptop. She mentioned to me she needed a lot of space for her music collection. But when I got down to helping her move everything to the new device, I didn't have enough space. I did not know that many show tunes even existed! Had to upgrade it.
