Placing landmarks in 3D images of your samples: it sounds like an easy enough task, but when the number of samples is large and the structures to be marked have complex morphologies, it can become an unwelcome time sink.

Video just cannot do justice to the impact of seeing, exploring, and annotating your 3D & 4D images on a glasses-free 3D display. The three-way integration of our syGlass software, the Sony Spatial Reality Display, and the Antilatency stylus is a remarkable thing to behold in person.

Well-designed VR tools are inherently intuitive, but the jump from 2D to true 3D image analysis can still be intimidating. To make it easier to take advantage of the benefits of VR for image analysis, we at syGlass are reworking our tutorials to be more structured, comprehensive, and accessible.

Stereoscopic visualization + 3D control. It's a powerful combination for exploring & analyzing 3D image data, & a VR headset is no longer required to achieve it. syGlass reads image data from many file formats: some open, some proprietary. Few are as exciting and dynamic as OME-Zarr, and direct streaming of these files is only the beginning of what's possible. More on our support for OME-Zarr in syGlass v2.6.0 below.

For rapid creation of immersive narrative content from 3D image data, there is no more capable tool than syGlass. Narrations like these can be viewed in fully immersive VR; as 2D, stereo-3D, or 360 video; or as an anaglyph scene for viewing with red/cyan 3D glasses. Create once & deploy anywhere!
