Kinda striking how often the current administration's justification for their actions is literally just "I want to do this and I won the election, therefore I can do this." The whole point of a functioning US system of govt is to PREVENT all-powerful monarchs, not to just choose them via elections.

The “run the government like a business” people never make sense to me. Businesses are about making money, and selling a product. Governments are about instilling a standard set of laws and services to improve and regulate society, they’re inherently different and not at all compatible.
