Children's and young adult literature (CYAL) book group

We meet once a month to talk together about two books: a young adult text and a picture book.

We invite people to read the two books and come along with a question about each book; perhaps something you are curious or puzzled about or something you are keen to put to the rest of the group. The group is convened by Dr Darren Chetty.

This month we'll be looking at Candy Gourlay's Bone Talk and Shireen Lalji and Lucy Fleming's So Devin wore a Skirt.

For International Children's Book Day, I'm highlighting a few books from the #IBBY Silent Books Collection housed in Lampedusa Library in Italy.
