#worldkidlitmonth Miyuki Miyabe (1960- ) began her career as a mystery writer; she won the Japan Mystery Writers Association Prize for her debut novel. Most of her work is still in the mystery genre, where she broke new ground for women with the publication of her 1992 novel, All She Was Worth.
