Our latest work, led by Thomas Lindow, on estimating wedge pressure by #EchoFirst. #Cardiosky LA volume is not necessarily needed. LA inflow (PVs, PVd) and outflow (E) velocities, which are proportional to pressure gradients, perform just as well. A multi-institutional collaborative effort 🇦🇺🇸🇪

I recently discovered bone 🦴 conducting headphones 🎧 (Shokz) and enjoy listening to podcasts/audiobooks while jogging. But not all books 📖 have audio 🔊 recording. ✅Tip: the Alexa free smartphone app will read any book in your kindle library w an AI voice that is pretty darn good👍. I use it daily.

In 2019, we wrote a paper showing that patients with left ventricular thrombus have a long-term risk of embolism, extending to at least 8 years. We were puzzled by the finding… #CardioSky www.ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161/...
