The best way to get to the bottom of the McConnell question is for the governor to appoint a replacement. The GOP legislature passed a law stripping him of that power, but it goes against the state constitution. If they refuse to seat the replacement, take them to court. There’s zero downside.

I've had to unfriend a few fans lately, all for the same reason. They made ridiculing, unkind, and in some cases outright cruel comments about pictures I posted of young women cosplaying Jessica.
More than a person, Jessica is a state of mind. To play Jessica, you need self -confidence, a sense of humor, and a Jessican -attitude-. Rights you have to pay to enforce aren’t guaranteed unless you can pay for them. I’m glad there’s a way to get lawyers paid to enforce peoples rights. What about all the cases lawyers choose not to take? The profession as a whole, or at least the part in your vicinity, decides if you get justice.

Instead of allowing the biggest liar to bluster through debates, networks should incorporate instant factchecking after each candidate’s comments. Microphones would be silenced and the moderator would state which claims were correct, and which were false. Good for democracy and good for ratings.
