If minimum wage cannot provide a decent level of living then it is not really minimum wage, but a minimum employer obligation (meaning that capitalists would pay you less if they could). The minimum wage was ALWAYS meant to be a LIVING wage. Cost = up 400% Wages = stuck in 2009 HALF US = >$25k/year

One of my favourite movies of all time is "The Castle," which opens with "My name is Dale Kerrigan, and this is my story." Dale proceeds to narrate events that he was present for but had almost no active role in. Every ad or summary describes the plot as being about Dale's father. It's awesome.
