I've been using AI a lot at work for he last month. I don't see the promised improvement in productivity. That being said, it's fun to use and I don't think it makes me less productive. Thanks for asking! Sometimes, reporters push back but you can’t hear them (you might only have the mic during your question). Like recently CBC asked Poilievre a question and he mischaracterized it in his answer. If you listen, you can juuust hear the reporter push back — but no mic = no voice.

So about ten years ago I found a small network of bots on Reddit dedicated to spreading hate. The thing about it is that these weren't even responding to political topics - they were just responding to random keywords with insults and hate. The same bots are now here. You should understand why. 🧵

This seems like a really blunt tool to address an issue that comes down to a lack of regulation of tech giants, who have failed to invest in adequate moderation and prioritize engagement (and profit) above all. The internet can be really dangerous. But it can also be a lifeline for vulnerable kids.

One thing I find interesting about the echo chamber complaint is that an echo chamber just won a presidential election. Put aside the convo of whether it’s “good” or “bad” for a moment.
