Born in Marion and raised in Fairmount, Davis turned an orange cat with a big personality into a character recognized and loved around the world.
But this costume represents more than a famous Hoosier.
The hand-painted comic panels on my skirt share messages inspired by my initiative, Captivating Confidence:

"Outer beauty attracts, but inner beauty captivates."

Solved a hard work problem in my head while running errands, and it occurred to me that I rarely solve such problems at my desk at work. Walking, doing dishes, doing a puzzle, and running errands are it. Offices might be better off with alternative cognitive spaces, but that doesn't fit the times.
