A bit of an off take here as it’s missing context, consumer premiumuzation within beverage alcohol has led to less overall consumption by volume but not by dollar growth. Ex: Younger drinkers also drink more expensive drinks with higher ABV than previous generations which is why you see this take

Die Professur widmet sich in der Forschung der Herstellung von Lebensmitteln mit alternativen Pro-tein-, Zucker- oder Fettquellen sowie deren gesundheitlichen Auswirkungen. Schwerpunkte können unter anderem auf der Herstellung und Charakterisierung alternativer Proteinquellen liegen, wie bei-spielsweise durch Präzisionsfermentation, in vitro kultiviertem Fleisch oder biotechnologisch erzeug-ten Kohlenhydraten. Auch die Erforschung der Rolle von Makronährstoffen als Matrixbestandteile und als strukturgebende Elemente für Aroma und Textur oder als Trägersysteme für Mikronährstoffe sind Beispiele für relevante Forschungsthemen.
Die Professur stärkt die interdisziplinäre Forschung zwischen den Bereichen Lebensmittelwissen-schaft und -biotechnologie sowie Ernährungswissenschaften und -medizin, indem sie lebensmittel-technologische und ernährungswissenschaftliche Expertise eng miteinander verknüpft.
Gesucht wird eine Persönlichkeit, die durch international sichtbare Forschung und hochrangige, ein-schlägige Publikationen ausgewiesen ist sowie die Fähigkeit zur Einwerbung von Drittmitteln nach-weisen kann. Die Professur leistet einen Beitrag in der Lehre zu den oben beschriebenen Themenge-bieten in deutscher und englischer Sprache.
Die Ausstattung der Professur bietet für eine W3-Erstberufung attraktive Bedingungen. Habilitation oder gleichwertige wissenschaftliche Leistungen sowie pädagogische Eignung werden vorausge-setzt.
Die ausgeschriebene Stelle steht unbefristet zur Verfügung. Bei der ersten Berufung in ein Professo-renamt behält sich die Universität die Einstellung auf Probe vor. Schwerbehinderte werden bei glei-cher Qualifikation bevorzugt eingestellt.
Die Universität Hohenheim strebt eine Erhöhung des Anteils von Frauen in Forschung und Lehre an. Sie fordert daher....

Modern food is likely somewhat lower in nutrients due to the use of high yielding cultivars and perhaps increased atmospheric CO2 concentrations, but following dietary guidelines is much more important to get your essential nutrients. Very good article.

Figure 30. Total area occupied by wind turbine and solar infrastructure (solid boxes) is about equal to the land occupied by railroads (ADE demand case). Rooftop PV is not included because it does not require any additional land use. The areas within unfilled boxes represent multiple use areas, and for wind, represent the area not occupied by turbine infrastructure and thus available for other purposes including those illustrated above, such as livestock and agriculture. Note that some land is counted in multiple categories (e.g., part of the area indicated as “roads” and “building footprints” represents land also included in “urbanized areas”). Boxes have the same scale as the map.
