I was at Fenway last night and now BOTH DraftKings and Kalshi are all over the place. They are, arguably, the most visible brands in the building, yet they offer nothing of value to the consumer, city or Commonwealth. Buy more beer or Angry Orchard, make more impulse bets on live action. Win/win.

For the past 10+ years a demanding dog would wake me up at 6:30am and remind me to feed him and drive our son to school. Sadly the "dog alarm" is no longer with us. This morning the teen got up, made his own breakfast and drove himself to school. Phoebe is still sleeping. The house is silent.
