When I was consulting, ~20 years ago(?) (yikes) we hired an MIT grad. Man what a loon. I think he was smokin too much dope at the time. Anyway, he had enough gravitas to get himself hired at the client. Maybe he was smart, but not very effective.

2001 was a really weird year. July 9th, I moved cross country with my then wife for her to attend law school at IU. It took a month for me to get a job. I had started a GMAT course, 9/11 happened and there were images on tv of people laid off from their jobs. It was depressing.

Have I ever told you guys about my patented gecko trapper ™️? Once you trap the lizard, you slide foil under the contraption to trap it. With smaller ones, I use a clear glass.

My wife and I are registered Democrat in TX, tho i consider myself independent. We wanted to support my friend in the GOP primary who was running for judge. The lady checking IDs said the ID didn’t look like my wife. Luckily, she backed down, because the conflict would have been real.
