An image of young Brumbpo Tungus on a talk show, a boy who had a near death experience and says heaven is for real. His name is pronounced like the beginning of “get low” by the Ying Yang Twins.

So the Blue Jays couldn't hit this year, and there was a bunch of former Blue Jays in the top ~20 AVG. Gabriel Moreno stuck out. Here's the head to head comparison from 2023-2026 with Varsho. Moreno wins every stat but HR. And Varsho still loses on OPS, SLG, OPS+ while hitting 33 more HR.
Statistical comparison of Daulton Varsho and Gabriel Moreno between 2023 and 2026

Institutions don’t have hands. But the Dean of Student Life is a person. The head of the campus hospital is a person. The president of the university is a person. And academic faculty are also people, in their own gnarled and twisted way. All these people are the hands of the institution.

In 2013, the Daily Princetonian revealed that in 2008, Princeton University had paid to conduct a survey of students about sexual assault - then buried the results when *one in six* female undergrads reported unwanted vaginal penetration within the past year. That’s just under 17%.

Max Scherzer going on short rest to catch Verlander's strikeout total -- and nearly damn well doing it -- is some all time inner circle king petty shit, and I mean that in the most complimentary way imaginable. You gotta tip your cap to a true psycho, and Max Scherzer is an all-time baseball psycho.

Another way: closer you get to 6.353 runs, harder you are to beat. The Blue Jays are easy to beat. And because they don't score a lot of runs in Wins, they don't win easily.

Another fun fact. Average Winning score in the MLB (when I calculated this in early Aug) was 6.353 (W) to 2.693 (L). The Blue Jays had the LOWEST average score in winning games (5.468 runs/win).

30-game rolling average is a totally arbitrary number, sure. But look how CONSISTENTLY bad they've been all year, except for the slight bump in the last 30 days when there was a modicum of hope. Alas. #bluejays

The Blue Jays have not been able to score runs this year. At no point have they been good. Last year, their output was like a crescendo. This year? Flatline.
Chart of Blue Jays average runs scored, showing 2026 flatlining at 4 runs, and 2025 increasing all season to 5 runs per game. chart comparing 30-day average runs score for 2025 and 2026 Blue Jays teams. 2025 shows consistently better run scoring.

A key challenge with AI and Education implementation is that AI reduces friction when for education the friction is the point. Persisting with desirable difficulty is the good stuff. Efficiency is bad, here.

Where AI has the potential to help is the 2-Sigma problem. But that fact gives away the game, because this is a problem created by chronic underfunding and poor access to 1:1 resources. Nothing beats the science behind spaced retrieval and human connection for long term gains.
